ABOUT ME
I am Kevin Moreno, an architect, and researcher working at the boundaries of architecture and computational design, with a focus on digital fabrication. I am currently a Visiting Researcher in Building Technology at MIT, being part of the Digital Structures research group.
My research interests are:
· Computation.
· Structural Design.
· Digital Fabrication.
I have been trained at the University of Alcalá, Spain; RWTH Aachen University, Germany; Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA; and Irkutsk State University, Russia. Since 2013 I have been working on several architectures and self-building projects related to digital design: computer graphics, parametric design, machining, and 3D printing.
I have participated in different research projects; produced 3D models, renderings and animations of architectural projects; and taught architecture students on 3D design. I have also worked in teams and offices with people of many different nationalities.
